With a reduction in the reliance on plastic molds, the manufacturing process is not only streamlined but also environmentally friendly, as steel serves as the primary material.

Genesis Wireless EV Charging System drastically reduces the users’ inconvenience of operation during the charging process, and thus it helps to enhance the user experience about electric vehicles beyond a simple charging event. It consists of Power Supply (PCS) to transfer electric power, control charging, and indicate charging state and Base Pad embedded electric cord which produces a magnetic field to supply electric power.
The overall height of PCS and the location of the indicator were designed to be optimized for a user to watch the charging process on the drivers’ seat in parking mode.
The form reflects simple but innovative image, by applying the elements of the Genesis brand identity such as the plaid pattern, two-line module, ambient lighting which deliver an integrated visual image of the Genesis’s EV.
It minimized the decorative elements. By reducing the use of a plastic mold, and using a metal plate cutting method, which uses steel as the main material, the manufacturing process is simplified and thus its eco-friendliness is enhanced.
